Electronic Fund Giving
The Stewardship Committee invites you to consider a new way of giving. Our committee has approved an automated giving program that is an excellent option for members who regularly use automatic withdrawals from their savings or checking accounts. Many of us already pay mortgage, insurance and utility payments through this method.
Both our members and the church benefit with this program. For those who participate, withdrawing the pledged or specified amount from your bank account on the specified days is truly giving the Biblical “first fruits.” It also eliminates the minor frustrations of writing frequent checks or forgetting the checkbook. For the church, the advantages are related to a consistent and predictable cash flow and less paperwork for our staff. The seasonal fluctuations in giving patterns are lessened with automated giving.
Participants of the Electronic Funds Transfer program (EFT) will still receive giving envelopes if they choose. Just mark the envelope “EFT” and drop it in the offering plate as always. If you would like to sign up for the Electronic Funds Transfer Program please contact the church office for details or download and complete the EFT Authorization Form and drop it off at the office.
